Ecclesiastes 4:9, 10 (ec4.9,10)
9Two are better than one, because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor;
10For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
9Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. 10For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth, and hath not another to lift him up.
9Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
10For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
9Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
10For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.
9Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:
10If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
9Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. 10If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
9Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their hard work. 10For if one of them should fall, the other one can raise his partner up. But how will it be with just the one who falls when there is not another to raise him up?
9The two are better than the one, in that they have a good reward by their labour. 10For if they fall, the one raiseth up his companion, but woe to the one who falleth and there is not a second to raise him up!
